Apple has released the Gold Master (GM) of OS X Mountain Lion to developers. The GM is typically the last version most developers will see before the public release. Apple believes there are few, if any, major bugs to be found by the developer community.

With the release of the GM version, it’s not unreasonable to expect to see the official public release of Mountain Lion sometime soon. I think we’ll see it early next week, which would allow sales of the release to be counted in Apple’s third-quarter results.
