Apple is bringing the iTunes Festival to the U.S. for the first time. For years, the iTunes Festival has been held in London, and featured both up-and-coming artists and well-known headliners.

That same formula is being used for the iTunes Festival SXSW (South by SouthWest). SXSW is an annual conference and festival that promotes original music, independent films, and emerging technologies. This year, Apple will be streaming five days of free music from the Austin, TX event, beginning on March 11 and ending on March 15.
