Privacy Badger keeps track of cookies, embedded images, scripts, and other common components of today’s web pages. When the plug-in sees the same components being used on multiple web sites with different domains, it refuses to load the offending information, making it appear that you simply disappeared from the web.

Privacy Badger is not an ad blocker. Its main purpose is to prevent web-tracking technology from gathering information on your browsing habits.
