This is our first look at the Apple refurb store since Apple announced 2014 versions of the MacBook Air. And just as we expected, refurb versions of both the 2012 and 2013 MacBook Air saw some very nice price cuts.

If you want a MacBook Air, this may be a good time to look at the refurb version of the 2013 models. After all, the 2014 MacBook Air offers only a marginal increase in processor performance, and little if any improvement in battery run-time, which makes a discounted 2013 MacBook Air a very attractive model for the price.

Best Deals of the Week

This week, a 2012 13-inch MacBook Air makes its way into our best deals category with a fast 1.8 GHz processor and a price nicely below $800.00. Our second deal of the week is a 2012 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display, with a price just north of $1,000.
