This week, the Mac refurb store is practically overflowing with goodies, and that’s a good thing, because many times the cupboard is nearly bare. But even with the wide range of choices, you may want to hold off making a purchase until later in the week, especially if you’re considering a Mac mini or Mac portable. The reason to delay your purchase is that on Monday, Apple will be announcing new products at the WWDC keynote event. There’s a chance that some refurb products may fall in price if new versions are introduced.

Best Deals of the Week

This week’s deals include four Macs that offer great value. We’ll start with a 2012 MacBook Air that can save you 35% over its original retail price. If you would prefer the more powerful MacBook Pro, there are two good deals this week: a 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display at a 27% reduction in price, and a larger 15-inch MacBook Pro with almost 25% knocked off its price. Our last deal of the week is a 2012 Mac Pro, the last year of the large tower enclosure, with four internal drive bays and a PCIe expansion bus. Although Apple only reduced the price by14%, they’re still a deal as the 2010 and 2012 Mac Pros become more and more sought after for their storage and expansion capabilities.
