The Mac refurb store is beginning to look like Mother Hubbard’s cupboard; mostly bare, at least for some of the most popular Macs, such as the Mac mini. There’s only one Mac Pro in stock, and no Apple displays at all.

Of course, unless you need a Thunderbolt display, I wouldn’t consider the refurb display a great deal anyway, since there are so many nice 27-inch display options available from other manufacturers.

The real news for the refurb store this week is that there were no major price drops on any products. We were hoping to see some price movement with the expectation that new hardware would be introduced at WWDC earlier this week, but no such luck for those of us looking for hardware deals.

Best Deals of the Week

The best deals this week can be found in two of our Mac categories: MacBook Airs and MacBook Pros. Starting off is a 2012 13-inch MacBook Air that is 33% below its original retail pricing. It’s a nicely equipped Air, with a 256 GB SSD that should be big enough to house all your apps and data.

Our next two best deals of the week are both in the MacBook Pro category: a 2012 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display, and a 15-inch model, also with Retina display.

We have one more item to bring to your attention. It didn’t make our best deal of the week list, but it does deserve a mention. It’s a top-end 27-inch iMac, with maxed-out RAM and a nice big SSD. If you’ve been thinking about buying a top-end iMac, be sure to take a look.
