While iOS 8 beta has a number of improvements and the addition of promised features, OS X Yosemite seems to offer only a few changes to the UI (User Interface), and, as noted by Mac Rumors, a new option in Safari to display complete web addresses.

Underlying code for the system is still being tweaked, and there are likely a number of areas that need performance improvements, and a number of features that need to be integrated into Yosemite. Developer Release 5 may display some UI changes, but under the hood, there’s still a great deal more work to be done.
