For most of the summer, there hasn’t been any stock of the 15-inch MacBook Pro in the refurb store, and that trend seems to be continuing. It’s a bit unusual for a popular model of the Mac not to make an appearance in the Apple refurb store. Since the refurb store’s stock comes from mistakes in ordering, returns, and overstock, the 15-inch MacBook Pro must be nearly perfect, and no one is ever dissatisfied with it.

OK, there are probably a few other reasons, but it still leaves me scratching my head.

Deals of the Week

First up is a 2014 Mac mini with the more powerful i7 processor and a fast SSD for storage. This should make for a little Mac that can, and it won’t have to think about it.

Our second deal is for the largest of the desktop Macs, a 27-inch iMac with Retina display. This time it’s a mid-level model with a 1 TB Fusion drive and an i5 processor.
