The Mac includes a built-in Wi-Fi Diagnostics application that you can use to troubleshoot your wireless network connection. You can also use it to tweak your Wi-Fi connection for best performance, capture log files, and much more.

The Wi-Fi Diagnostics app is designed primarily to help users resolve Wi-Fi issues. To assist you, the app can perform some or all of the following functions, depending on the version of OS X you’re using.
