This week sees one of the least expensive 27-inch Retina iMacs available. The only hit against this low-cost iMac is that it’s configured with just a standard 1 TB hard drive. No SSD or Fusion drive, so you have to work with the slower hard drive whenever you’re reading or writing files to the disk.

Of course, the iMac has dual Thunderbolt ports and three USB 3.0 ports, so you can add a speedy external drive, if you wish, and use that as your startup drive.

Deals of the Week

This week’s deals start off with a 2014 Mac mini configured with a Dual-Core i7 processor. Like the iMac mentioned above, the downside is the configuration comes with only a slow hard drive. But also like the iMac, you can speed things up with a fast external drive.

Our second deal is for the 27-inch Retina iMac we talked about earlier. Although it’s stuck with the slower hard drive, it’s a low-cost way to put a Retina iMac on your desk.

Our last deal is for a MacBook Pro with dual graphics, fast PCIe Flash storage, and an ample amount of RAM. If you need performance on the go, this MacBook Pro won’t let you down.
